Consumer Reports -- well-respected for its appraisals of products and services -- has decided not to give the new MacBook Pro its coveted 'recommended' status. This is the first time Apple's laptop has failed to gain the accolade. While tests showed that the laptop's performance was good, it was the MacBook Pro's battery that let it down.
